Manufacturing of Glass Bottles

1.Debugging the Mold
This initial step involves adjusting and calibrating the bottle molds to ensure they meet the specific design and dimensional requirements of the client. Semepack ensures precision in this step to create bottles that align perfectly with customer expectations.
2.Preparation of Raw Materials
Semepack's glass bottles begin with high-quality raw materials, including quartz sand, soda ash, limestone, and cullet (recycled glass). These materials are carefully selected and proportioned to create a glass mixture that balances clarity, strength, and environmental sustainability.
3.Mixing
The raw materials are thoroughly mixed in a specialized mixing furnace. This step is crucial for achieving a homogenous blend, which is key to the quality and consistency of the final glass bottles.
4.Melting
The mixed raw materials are transferred to a high-temperature furnace for melting. Here, they are heated to approximately 1600°C. During this stage, water evaporates, organic matter is burned off, and the mixture transforms into a uniform, molten glass. Semepack's state-of-the-art furnaces ensure efficient and environmentally responsible melting.
5.Forming
The molten glass is then transferred to molds for shaping. Semepack uses precision forming techniques to ensure each bottle meets the desired specifications. The mold shapes the hot, viscous glass into the final bottle design.
6.Testing Production Samples
Samples from the production line are tested for quality assurance. Semepack conducts rigorous tests to check for dimensional accuracy, structural integrity, and overall aesthetics. This step ensures only the highest quality bottles proceed further in the production process.
7.Cooling
The hot glass bottles are carefully guided through a cooling line. This controlled cooling process, known as annealing, relieves internal stresses and gradually brings the bottles to a stable temperature, enhancing their durability.
8.Screening and Testing
Each bottle undergoes a thorough inspection under strong light. This screening process identifies and removes any defective products, ensuring only flawless bottles are sent to customers. Semepack employs advanced inspection technologies for accurate defect detection.
